Content:
Introduction to multimedia Architectures and Virtual Collaboration Systems, with Quality requirements. Multi-view video. Models in 3D vision. The DMP (Distributed Multimedia Plays) Architecture with the AppTraNetLFC and PCIe Protocols. Quality Shaping. Collaboration Spaces technological solutions. New achievements in DMP.

Course Material:
Technical reports and papers, given at semester start.

Recommended Background:
TTM4100 Communication - Services and Networks, TTM 4150 Internet Network Architecture, or equivalent.

Teaching Method:
Intensive Colloquia, two weeks in end of September. The students will contribute actively to, and give some of the presentations.

Learning Goal:
Give the students a basis for performing R&D on Networked Collaboration Systems.
