  • I have been appointed Assistant Professor at the Budapest Univ. of Technology and Economics. I am a member of the Future Internet Research Group at the Dept. of Telecommunications and Media Informatics.
  • I am currently serving as a TPC member for ICC'15 and PerMoby'15.
  • I have served as Publicity Chair for IFIP Networking 2014.
  • Interdependent Privacy: Let Me Share Your Data (with Pern Hui Chia) has been accepted for presentation at Financial Crypto '13. Acceptance rate for full papers has been 12%. I have also presented this work at the Workshop on Privacy and Economics in conjunction with ACM EC'13 in Philadelphia, USA.
  • Free-Scaling Your Data Center (with Laszlo Gyarmati, Andras Gulyas, Balazs Sonkoly and Tuan A. Trinh) has been accepted for publication in Elsevier Computer Networks.
  • I have served as a TPC member for INFOCOM'14 (posters/demos), NetEcon-WPIN'13, ICC'14,'13, DRCN'14, '13, MUM'14, VTC:'13S, '12F, '12S, DCPerf'14, '13, Connected Vehicles'14, '13 (ICCVE) and CoNEXT'11 (shadow).

Research interests

Currently I am focusing on:

  • economics of networked systems (incentives, interdependent privacy, dependability, dynamic markets, network formation, cyber-insurance)
  • network coding (OPS, core networks)
  • indoor positioning systems (data mining, economics)

I'm also interested in:

  • data center networking (incremental upgrade, topology, routing, performance)
  • routing and forwarding
  • green wireless technologies
