The Department of Information Security and Communication Technology (IIK) invites applications for 1 PostDoc and 2 PhD research fellowship positions connected to Centre for intelligent electricity distribution (CINELDI). CINELDI is a cross-disciplinary research Centre for Environment-friendly Energy Research (FME) awarded by the Research Council of Norway.

Petra Stojsavljevic (Vizarreta), PhD student at TU München (Chair of Communication Networks) under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. W. Kellerer, is visiting IIK/NTNU this week on a grant given by the COST Action RECODIS as a “Short Term Scientific Mission”. She will be working on the topic of dependability modelling in SDN together with Bjarne E. Helvik and Poul E. Heegaard.

Professor Kishor Trivedi is visiting the department. He will sit in A-264 and stay until June 15.

Dr. Kishor Trivedi is Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. He has published several textbooks and more than 500 scientific papers. His research interests are in reliability and performance assessment of computer and communication systems. He has worked closely with industry partners and developed three different tools for reliability and performance assessments (SHARPE, SPNP and SREPT).
